You Tube To Mp3 Piracy Laws

Being able to download straight from You Tube to mp3, is every music lovers dream, and, it’s out there for you to enjoy right now. Getting our music for free, provides an enormous rush of satisfaction to the degree that we can sometimes overlook the legalities of exactly where that music is coming from, and whether it is really available for us to use. None of those among us, could disagree with the fact, that the energy, and effort, that goes into producing the music we love so much, is huge, and the talent displayed by most artists isof course immeasurable. When you think of the time involved in writing the lyrics, composing the music, and even the logistics involved in knowing your market and having the knowledge to release an album at it just at the right time, it is easy to understand why the music you love to listen to costs so much, but of course, some of these people have made it possible for you to enjoy their music, without paying a cent, so it is only honest courtesy to make sure that what you download is of the legal variety.

There are very specific laws in the United States of America, against unauthorized redistribution, and reproduction of music. These laws are heavily policed, to protect record companies, artists, technicians, record stores, and lots of other people that are associated with the production, and distribution of our music, and this is because, if there was no law to protect them, then they would not make the money needed to keep producing those amazing sounds we love so much, so do the math.

The Recording Industry Association of America, and other music industry professionals, regularly file lawsuits against anyone caught downloading music illegally, and believe me they are very vigilant. Penalties if you are caught, can range from anywhere between two and five years imprisonment, or from $750 to $250,000. Judgment for this is based on the degree of infringement. These infringement guidelines are varied also. For instance, if you download copyrighted music, using a file sharing service, and transferred it through an email, or messaging service, then go on to make them available to others on the internet to download, this would be classed as an absolute breach of these laws. To break this down, the procedure of uploading, and downloading music that is protected by copyright, without the express permission of those concerned will always be a violation. For these reasons, please be guided by us when it comes to downloading from, You Tube to mp3, because we have set out for, you all the places that you will find the music that you love, without the risk of prosecution for piracy.

This all becomes a little awkward when you get into what is legal, and what is not, and I agree that it is a very thin line, but as you were advised, be guided by our advice, and where we send you, because we know what is safe. These laws are from The Recording Industry Association of America, and they will be what most of you will be governed by, but in some countries, things are very different. Canadian law states that you can legally download copyrighted music to your hearts content, but if you upload this same music, you are seen to be in breach of the law. Canada has extra levies, payable on recording media, to protect the music industry from being directly effected by the structure of this law, and in Canada it all seems to work very well.

China, despite being a culture that does not cast social stigma on the theft of intellectual property, the importance of Trademarks, Patents, and Lawsuits, involving these things are on the increase. This is a very important step for the music industry, because piracy of music and video in China has been a concern for a long time. In 2008, the recording industry took steps, to try and initiate the development of a respect based music business, rather than the outright and blatant violation of copyright laws, that they were displaying at that time. The chairman and chief executive of IFPI, which is the Representative company for the recording industry world wide, was at the time quoted as saying, that the music industry in China, would like to have a working partnership with the technology companies, but that you can not build anything like that, on the basis of, systemic theft of copyrighted music, and for that reason there was still a lot of work to do in this area.

So as you can see, there are laws world wide to protect the music industry, and associated companies, but there are, as we have said, perfectly legal ways to download your music without infringing on anyones copyrighted material. The things we have covered in our articles, will make it possible for you to download the music you like from, You Tube to mp3, without any risk of encroaching on the rights of others, so with this in mind, enjoy.
