Get the best sound quality
For music, always choose 256 or 320kbps. YouTube's source audio is roughly 128-160kbps AAC/Opus, and a generous MP3 bitrate preserves everything that source has, converting to a low bitrate instead stacks compression artefacts you can actually hear on decent headphones. One honest note: no converter can make a song sound better than YouTube's copy of it; anyone promising "studio quality" is marketing, not engineering.

Is 320kbps really better than 128kbps?
For music, yes. You keep more detail in cymbals, reverb and stereo width. For speech the difference is minor.
