X (formerly Twitter) has no download button for video at all, not even for your own posts. This tool saves videos from any public post as HD MP4 files: paste the post link, pick the quality, and the video is yours to keep, long after the post is deleted or the account vanishes.
How to save a video from X

Public posts: yes. Private (protected) accounts: no. Content that requires following to view cannot be fetched by any legitimate tool, and we never ask for your X login. Spaces (audio rooms) and live broadcasts are separate formats; regular video posts and GIFs are what this tool handles.
