Download Facebook videos and Reels in HD
Facebook's "Save video" button only bookmarks a video inside Facebook. It does not give you a file. Public vs private: what works
Only public videos can be downloaded. Videos shared to Friends-only, private groups or Messenger require a login to view, and no legitimate downloader can (or should) fetch those, we never ask for your Facebook credentials. If a video will not download, open the link in a private browser window: if Facebook asks you to log in, that is the reason.
