Downloading a 40-video playlist one link at a time is misery. This tool takes a playlist URL (the kind containing list=) and lets you work through its videos efficiently, as MP4 video or MP3 audio, with real file sizes and a live progress bar for each item.
How to download a playlist
- Open the playlist on YouTube and copy the URL, it looks like youtube.com/playlist?list=… (a video link with &list= in it works too).
- Paste it above. The tool reads the playlist and lists its videos, up to the first 100, with thumbnails and durations.
- Pick your format, MP4 for video, MP3 for audio, and download the items you want.

Practical tips for big playlists
- Audio saves enormous space: a 50-lecture course at 128kbps MP3 is a few gigabytes; the same course in 1080p video is tens of gigabytes.
- Pick 720p for phone viewing, half the size of 1080p and visually identical on a small screen, which matters times fifty.
- Very long items (multi-hour videos inside a playlist) behave like any long video, a lower quality choice avoids timeouts.
- Private and deleted videos inside a playlist are skipped. Nothing can fetch those; see why downloads fail.

Can I convert a music playlist to MP3?
Yes. Switch the format to Audio (MP3), pick a bitrate (320kbps for music), and download each track. Ideal for albums and freely licensed music collections.
Do private playlists or YouTube Mixes work?
No. Private playlists need a login we never ask for, and Mixes (radio playlists) are generated per-viewer so they cannot be read. Public and unlisted playlists work.
